Live from Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey, UFC 316 has 2 massive bantamweight championship fights.

Headlining the event is a UFC Bantamweight Championship rematch between current champion Merab Dvalishvili and former champion Sean O’Malley. When they last met in September 2024 at UFC 306, Dvalishvili captured the title by unanimous decision.

The UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship bout will be between current two-time champion Julianna Pena and the 2012 & 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist in judo, Kayla Harrison – scheduled to co-headline UFC 316.
