Sydney singer songwriter Braden Evans would often raid his father’s record collection and make mix tapes of The Beatles as a child. This early passion for The Beatles spawned not only his love for music but also his pop sensibilities. Then influences like Jeff Buckley and Ryan Adams helped him shape his raw emotive voice and effortlessly smooth guitar that we hear today. He spent some time fronting the hard rock outfit Rivers-End around Australia supporting acts such as Gyroscope and Birds Of Tokyo.
Now his solo project is a combination of folk and alternative country, which takes full advantage of an amazing voice, ranging from delicate whispers to full blown wailing. His dynamic live solo performance has given him the opportunity to perform at some impressive venues such as the Enmore Theatre and ANZ Stadium, alongside big names such as Billy Joel, Aerosmith and Van Halen.
